Holiday/Special Event Surcharge
For Holidays or Special Event timeframes (eg. Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas-New Years week, Valentines Day, NASCAR races, football games, other specially designated weekends, etc.), prices are subject to increase. Please contact us for additional details.

A private party is any sort of function that is for a family or gathering of people, but not for a business or organization. The price is the same regardless of the type of event (wedding, birthday party, etc.). Hours reflect number of hours music is to be played. Price does not include possible gas surcharge. Additional information…

**GAS SURCHARGE POLICY CHANGE** Due to our very competitive prices and higher gas prices, we have changed our policy to pass all gas charges on to our clients. We will only charge you for gas that will be used. These charges will also be based on current market prices at time of booking. Should gas prices rise significantly from the time of your event being originally booked, we will adjust the fuel surcharge as needed. Of course, we will discuss these charges with you before your event. Even with the gas surcharge, our prices are usually at least 30-50% cheaper than our competition.

  • We will arrive 15 to 60 minutes early (which is included in cost) to setup and to speak with you about any final details which need to be laid out .
  • Our normal dress consists of cacky pants and collared shirt. If a suit or tie is required, please let us know. If a tuxedo is required, please also let us know, as an additonal fee will be added for tuxedo rental.
  • The Tri-Cities (Johnson City, Bristol, Kingsport, Abingdon) require a minimum of 4 hours. Please contact us to determine the minimum amount of hours for your event’s location!
  • Remember that if a tuxedo is required, an additional fee will be added for rental of the tuxedo for DJ.

Payment & refund information…

  • 25% of total payment is expected at time of booking (security deposit). This deposit IS refundable if the booking is canceled within three months (90 days) before event is scheduled. Security deposit WILL NOT BE refunded if reservation is cancelled 89 days or less before event is scheduled.
  • Payment can be made by cash, LOCAL check, or credit card (using PayPal via internet). (returned check = automatic cancellation of booking)
  • Remaining 75% is expected after the event. NO PAYMENTS CAN BE SUBMITTED AFTER EVENT. If time is needed to retrieve necessary payment (run to ATM, go home to get check book, etc.) after an event, a charge of $30 for every 10 minutes may be billed to client at discretion of staff member.
  • In the RARE event that equipment fails and CANNOT be fixed, etc, a FULL refund will be provided…this includes: stereo equipment failure, music player failure (basically any issue that that we are responsible for)
  • A refund will NOT be issued for the following: power outages, bad weather, acts of God (basically any issue that is beyond our control.) Of course, we are more than willing to try to work with you if an alternate arrangement can be made.
  • An event is not officially booked until a signed contract and deposit (check cleared) are received. We do not hold dates by verbal agreements. Event bookings are first come, first serve.
